Our packages are thoughtfully designed to offer more than just coverage. From the first conversation to the final delivery, we focus on creating a seamless, meaningful experience that allows you to be fully present while we capture your story as it naturally unfolds. 1. How far in advance do we book?
For portrait sessions, I recommend reaching out 1–3 months in advance, especially for fall and holiday dates. Weddings typically book 12–18 months ahead. If you have a date in mind, reaching out early is always encouraged.
2. Do you travel for weddings and sessions?
Absolutely. Sonder + Sol is based in Western New York and available for travel wherever your story takes you. Destination weddings, sessions, and celebrations are always welcome. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I understand that sometimes plans change. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, and your retainer will be transferred to the new date. All retainers are non-refundable, as your date and time are reserved exclusively for you. In the event of severe weather or circumstances that make shooting unsafe, we’ll work together to find a new date. Wedding cancellations and date changes are subject to the terms outlined in your signed contract.
4. When will we receive our photos?
Portrait galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks, while wedding galleries are delivered anywhere around 13 weeks. I do my best to provide updates to clients if needed a little more time for editing. Every image is thoughtfully selected and individually edited to create a cohesive gallery that tells the full story of your day.
